TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following Terms and Conditions will apply to all bookings made between Algarve-Leisure and the person responsible for the reservation on behalf of all the members in the group.

1. When you make a booking you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions.

2. The booking form is to be completed in full. Any alterations after the form has been sent must be sent in writing immediately to Algarve-Leisure. This are only approved after receiving a confirmation in writing from Algarve-Leisure. The number of persons on the contract is absolute. Should there be other persons using the property without prior permission, Algarve-Leisure reserves the right to expel all tenants with no refund.

3. Deposits: a 30% non-refundable deposit for the total cost of the reservation is required at the time of booking and a receipt/confirmation will be sent at which time the booking will be confirmed, forming a contract between Algarve-Leisure and the person responsible for the reservation. The balance of the reservation is due no later than six weeks prior to the start of the booking. Should a reservation be made after the six-week period, payment is required in full. If the payment of monies outstanding is not made by the due date, then the booking is considered cancelled by the client.

4. All of our property owners require a security deposit. This is due at the time of the final payment (i.e. six weeks prior to arrival). The amount required is £150 per villa or £90 per apartment. Should the deposit be paid in any other currency, bank charges may apply. Security deposits are returned no later than four weeks after the booking has terminated, less any expenses that may have been incurred i.e. breakages, damage, etc.

Failure to vacate the property by the agreed time or unauthorized use of the property, will result in the total loss of your security deposit.

Security deposits for third party agents i.e. Car Rental etc are subject to their terms and conditions.

5. Algarve-Leisure, their agents, property owners, management companies or their representatives will not be responsible or liable for any damage or injuries however caused.

6. Should a client have to cancel the booking, for whatever reason, notification in writing is to be given to Algarve-Leisure and the following charges will apply:

7. At Algarve-Leisure, we pride ourselves on providing our services as requested by the client. However, should these for any reason not be available due to circumstances beyond our control, we will inform the clients of any proposed changes as soon as possible. Furthermore, Algarve-Leisure agrees to provide a property of an equal standard or superior to the original property booked in the unlikely event of the original accommodation not being available. If the alternative accommodation is not to the client’s satisfaction, Algarve-Leisure will refund all monies received in respect of the accommodation only and will not be under any further liability.

8. The client agrees to take care of the accommodation and its contents and agrees to pay/replace any items lost, stolen or damaged.

Clients are asked not to occupy the property earlier than 14:00 hrs on the day of arrival and to vacate the property no later than 10:00 hrs on the day of departure. These times may be altered by prior arrangement with Algarve-Leisure. Failure to vacate the property by the required time could result in the loss of your security deposit.

9. In the unlikely event of any complaints arising whilst in Portugal, you must inform Algarve-Leisure in writing immediately. Complaints will only be considered if we are duly advised and allowed time to rectify them. Any complaints made by clients once returned to their country of origin that were not notified in resort will not be considered.

10. Algarve-Leisure is a Portuguese registered company as follows: Contribuinte Nº 185974716 - Address at Rua General Humberto Delgado, nº 36 - Guia. Therefore any legal action taken against Algarve-Leisure has to be made in Portuguese courts (Albufeira’s court) under Portuguese law.

11. Data Protection Policy:

To enable us to process your booking we have to ask for personal and private information from you. This will include the names of anyone in the party booking, your address, telephone number, credit card details and any other details that may affect your booking (e.g. disabilities, dietary requirements for the welcome pack, medical history etc.).

If a booking is made with Algarve-Leisure, then the relevant details are forwarded to anyone responsible for any part of your booking arrangements. The information may also be provided to public authorities such as customs/immigration if required by them, or as required by law. We will not, however, forward any of your details to any other person or company other than those already mentioned without your prior written consent. In making a booking with us, you accept these conditions.
